I am a conductor and educator with over 30 years of professional experience in Europe, Australia, the UK and the USA, conducting orchestras, choirs and other ensembles, including the Tonhalle Zurich and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. I have also worked with opera and ballet companies, and even a rock group.
Alongside professional engagements I lead a wide variety of amateur and student groups, and offer individual coaching, workshops and consultancy.
Currently I am Musical Director of the Balmain Sinfonia, and the choir Bel a cappella, Sydney.
From 2026 I will also be the new conductor of the Percy Grainger Youth Orchestra, one of the Melbourne Youth Orchestras.
I also teach at the Palucca Hochschule Dresden, and am an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.
Additionally, I am an Associate of Newnham College, Cambridge, and a member of the Advisory Board of the International Alliance for Women in Music.
